The PreSonus Eris Sub 8BT compact studio subwoofer was designed to complement Eris and Eris Studio-series monitors, although it is compatible with a variety of full-range studio monitors. This surprisingly loud subwoofer delivers clear, accurate sub-lows down to 30 Hz, enabling you to hear the full sonic spectrum for music listening and content creation.

The 8-inch front-firing driver of the Eris Sub 8BT provides smooth, accurate sub-low frequencies, with a frequency response of 30 Hz to 200 Hz. Powered by a 100W Class AB amplifier (50W RMS), this subwoofer can produce a peak output of 100 dB SPL (at 1 meter) with minimal distortion, ensuring ample volume for even the most demanding EDM and hip-hop productions.

Flexible connectivity options make it easy to create a 2.1 monitoring system and tune it to your room. The Eris Sub 8BT offers stereo Bluetooth 5.0 wireless input for outstanding audio quality, as well as balanced ¼-inch TRS and unbalanced RCA main inputs for wired connectivity. Pass-through balanced ¼-inch TRS and unbalanced RCA outputs allow you to connect satellite speakers directly to the subwoofer.

To ensure a perfect match with your full-range speakers, the Eris Sub 8BT features a continuously variable lowpass filter that keeps resonances in the 50 Hz to 130 Hz range, as well as a defeatable highpass filter (crossover) that removes sub-80 Hz frequency content from the full-range signal sent to the main speakers. Additionally, the input gain control provides -30 dB to +6 dB of continuously variable output, and the polarity invert switch helps to correct phase-cancellation issues.
